Erin is the designer, florist, officiant, and co-planner behind Outland Events. Her work is defined by a refined eye, thoughtful use of color, and attention to detail. Each element is approached with intention, resulting in celebrations that feel cohesive and elevated.
With a background in nutrition and credentials as a registered dietitian, Erin brings a holistic perspective to her work. She believes that what surrounds us carries as much weight as what sustains us. That beauty is essential, not indulgent, and that thoughtful design, considered details, and inspiring environments shape how we gather, connect, and remember.
A lifelong Alaskan, Erin draws inspiration from the state’s vast and varied landscapes, continually seeking settings that feel rare, grounded, and quietly extraordinary. Outland Events is shaped by this sensibility, blending artful florals, intentional tablescapes, meaningful ceremonies, and striking locations to create celebrations that feel refined, grounded, and personal.

Corinne Graves, known as Cori, is the photographer, videographer, and co-planner at Outland Events. With over fifteen years of experience as a destination wedding photographer, she brings both mastery and calm to celebrations set in extraordinary places. Her work takes her regularly between Alaska, Hawaii, and Mexico, giving her a global perspective paired with a grounded, intentional approach.
Cori is inspired by international exploration, time spent in the wilderness, and genuine human connection. Her visual style is rooted in the timeless beauty of film, favoring depth, emotion, and restraint over trend. She has a natural ability to put couples at ease, allowing moments to unfold organically and be captured with honesty and elegance.
Her work has been featured in both print and online publications including The Knot, Huffington Post, and Style Me Pretty, and she has been named a Top Destination Wedding Photographer by ModWedding. Through a thoughtful, unobtrusive presence, Cori documents celebrations in a way that feels artful, enduring, and deeply true to the people at the center of them.

Outland Events was born from love and serendipity, when we became sisters-in-law and discovered a shared vision for creating extraordinary celebrations for adventurous, intentional couples in Alaska. What began as a natural alignment of values, artistry, and experience has grown into a deeply collaborative partnership rooted in trust and clarity.
Our upbringings shape the way we see Alaska. Erin was raised exploring Southcentral Alaska snow machining, camping, swimming in wilderness lakes, hiking, and hunting. Cori grew up immersed in Southeast Alaska, boating and fishing on the ocean, flying alongside her pilot father, and helping run her family’s floating lodge. Though we’ve both spent time living elsewhere, Alaska has always drawn us back. It is, and always has been, home.
Today, we’re based in Anchorage, with time also spent in Girdwood and Willow, often together as one extended family. Our couples have taken us across the state, from Nome to Denali, Kodiak to Sitka, and everywhere in between. We are honored to design and document experiences for couples from around the world, guiding them through Alaska with intention, artistry, and a deep respect for the landscapes that make each celebration unforgettable.
